Venetian Plaster

An Italian style plaster mixed with marble dust, layered with multiple thin coats, creating depth and texture mainly used on walls. Most colors can be achieved.

Polished — Multiple thin coats applied then burnished to create a high polished marble finish.

Un-burnished — Multiple thin coats left un-burnished to create a matte, stone-like finish.

Milestone Floor

Milestone is a waterborne cement-base product that mimics marble, stone, tile and granite. It can be applied to almost any substrate and sealed to hold up in most environments. Using different techniques and preparations, Milestone is very durable and will adhere to concrete, brick, wood, Formica, tile, sheet rock, paint and more. It can be used as the final surface for floors, interior and exterior walls, Most colors can be achieved.

Faux Finishes

Faux finishes are terms used to describe decorative paint finishes that replicate the appearance of materials such as marble, wood or stone. Glazes, rag rolling, urethane washes, marbleizing are a few techniques to achieve the faux finish.

Rag painting or ragging is a glazing technique using twisted or bunched up rags to create a textural pattern.

Marbleizing or faux marbling is used to make walls and furniture look like real marble. This can be done using either plaster or glaze techniques.
